But this is exact opposite of what you should be doing. Choosing a cloudy day is actually better for your windows as the hot weather and sunshine actually dries some of the cleaner onto the glass before you are able to wipe it away, again leaving you with unsightly streaks. During the summer you should clean your windows whilst the shade is facing the particular windows that you want to clean. This may mean cleaning the windows at different times of day.
